Anna “Gaby” Tassin, P.E., PTOE, PTP, RSP1
Gaby has 16 years of experience in the field of traffic and transportation planning. Throughout her career, she has delivered traffic engineering and planning solutions to clients in both the public and private sectors. As a results-driven leader, she has honed her skills of managing staff and completing projects on time and within budget.
Prior to founding Au+Engineering, Gaby was responsible for projects including feasibility studies, IAJRs, ITS/TSMO, mobility studies, signing and pavement markings, traffic engineering, bicycle/pedestrian studies, systems engineering, signal designs, safety studies, alternative studies, and transit studies. Her responsibilities also included growing business units, opening offices in new markets, developing and implementing growth strategies as well as managing group operations and staff members.
One of Gaby’s strengths is empowering others to grow to their fullest potential. This passion and dedication is reflected by her commitment to the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) community. She has served on various boards such as the Deep South ITE chapter treasurer, Vice President, President, LSU Student Liaison, STEM committee, Women of ITE committee, Advocacy committee, and Scholarship committee. One of her most notable achievements, which is near and dear to her heart, is the creation of the Women of TexITE committee. This committee aims to foster talent, for all genders, throughout the different stages of their engineering careers in Texas.
Gaby received a BS in Civil Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans and a BS in Physics from Loyola University New Orleans. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico. She is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), Professional Transportation Planner (PTP), and Road Safety Professional (RSP.) A strong advocate for change and passion for one’s trade, Gaby has an equally solid support system behind her which provide unwavering support for her success.
Lynn M. Isaak, P.E., PMP, MBA
Lynn brings over 32 years of diverse transportation experience, starting from overseeing construction projects in Florida and Texas. This field experience laid a strong foundation for her expertise in project and program management. Lynn is recognized for her ability to balance tenacity with positivity, leading strong, talented teams to successful project delivery.
Her open and candid communication style has enabled Lynn to deliver numerous roadway and interstate projects and establish a Project and Portfolio Management team at TxDOT, providing essential guidance and tools for program success. Her responsibilities include expanding service lines, recruiting top talent, and diversifying clients to enhance Au+’s offerings.
Lynn’s strengths in positivity and mentorship distinguish her as a sought-after leader by clients and teams. In 2023, she chaired the Mentoring Committee for WTS Heart of Texas, revitalizing the program, and in 2022, she launched TxDOT’s Connecting TxDOT Women Professional Mentoring Program. She is a passionate advocate for mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
Lynn holds a civil engineering degree from the University of South Florida (1991) and an MBA from the University of Florida (2022). She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia, Florida, and Texas, and holds a PMP certification. Lynn also serves as a Friend of the Committee for the AASHTO Technical Committee on Project Management, where she co-chaired from 2019 to 2022. With a passion for learning and teaching, Lynn co-teaches the Local Governments Projects (LGP101) certification course and recently developed training on Professional Procurement for Local Governments, in partnership with TxDOT. Her dedication to education, coupled with her expertise, enables her to effectively meet and exceed her clients’ needs.
Purvil Patel, PE, PTOE
With 13 years of industry experience, Purvil excels in team leadership, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and building lasting client relationships. As a highly skilled and results-driven leader with a robust background in civil engineering, his specialty lies in transportation systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) devices.Prior to joining the golden team at Au+, Purvil served as a Section Manager where he successfully led field staff and office engineers, overseeing several local agency contracts. His tenure was distinguished by his critical role in cultivating new business and developing strong ties with local metro agencies in Atlanta and Miami. His management of project scope, schedule, and budget across numerous initiatives showcased his profound capability in planning and designing both the communication networks and the physical and logical infrastructure that underpin modern transportation systems.
Purvil earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).

Katharine Murray, PE, PTOE
Katharine Murray is a Senior Transportation Engineer with 9 years of experience in traffic operations and analysis, having worked on a diverse range of projects across Texas, Florida, and Louisiana. With a strong background in traffic engineering, she specializes in optimizing transportation systems to enhance safety, efficiency, and overall performance.Katharine earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University (LSU) and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in both Texas and Florida. She is also a Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), reflecting her expertise and commitment to the field. As an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Katharine remains engaged with the latest industry innovations and best practices.
With nearly a decade of hands-on experience working on transportation projects, Katharine is dedicated to delivering practical, sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of communities and transportation networks.
Indira Fernandez, BA
With over a decade of experience in healthcare and medical office management, Indira is a seasoned leader in optimizing business operations for physician clinics and practices. Her expertise lies in enhancing team performance, implementing advanced technological solutions, and driving financial growth. Indira has a proven track record in managing complex healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering strong patient relationships.
Indira’s transition into the traffic engineering industry brings a fresh and valuable perspective to the Au+Engineering team. Her experience has equipped her with exceptional skills in project management, process optimization, and team leadership — qualities that are highly transferable to her new role. Her ability to implement innovative solutions and manage multifaceted operations ensures that she can effectively contribute to the development and management of complex engineering projects.
Before joining Au+Engineering, Indira served as a Practice Manager, where she led significant operational improvements that resulted in increased profitability and efficiency. She successfully oversaw the transition to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, yielding substantial cost savings and operational enhancements. Her leadership in recruiting and managing healthcare teams has consistently improved service quality and patient satisfaction.
Indira earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of Kansas. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with her diverse background, makes her a unique and valuable addition to the Au+Engineering team.

2016 WTS Transportation Innovation Award
Gaby Tassin, P.E., PTOE, PTP, RSP received this award as the Project Manager for the Pearland Parkway Corridor Improvement Project. This project focused on analyzing innovative alternatives for the Pearland Parkway corridor in Pearland, Texas. Innovative alternatives considered included roundabouts and diverted left turns.
